Hey there!
I’m Catherine – a Toronto-based mom and professional writer re-learning to write for myself. I blog about food, travel, Toronto life and parenthood.
The job market pulled me and my husband, Jey, to Toronto in 2009, forcing us to embrace big-city living. We’ve since learned that it’s not all concrete and crowded subways. This culturally diverse city of neighbourhoods and forested ravines is the best place we can imagine rooting our family.
When we do feel the urge to get away, our second home is anywhere along the aquamarine shores of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron. (That’s where we’d be settled if life didn’t have wrinkles, but it’s thanks to these wrinkles that our life is more interesting!)
I’ve learned that by living simply, giving generously and seeking to bloom where you’ve been planted, life rewards abundantly and in the most meaningful ways. That’s what Life in Situ is all about.
Thanks for visiting! I hope you drop by often.
